Your cookbooks are in the mail!

I cannot express how much your thoughtful responses to my CLEAN FOOD cookbook giveaway mean to me. Thanks to you, I am reminded every day why I chose this path for myself, and how lucky I am to share this journey with you.

Knowing firsthand what a busy time of year this “final week before” can be, I’ve decided to give others a chance to participate and share.

Okay…the truth is, my shipment of books has not yet arrived! So, our CLEAN FOOD giveaway is officially extended until New Years Day, and I will announce three winners on Thursday, January 2, 2014. Winners must live in the continental United States, but all are encouraged to join the conversation. Giveaway will be based on a random drawing (because otherwise I would pick everyone)!

May you surround yourself with much delicious clean food, family and friends these next two weeks. I look forward to kicking off 2014 with YOU!

    I love this cookbook and recommend it regularly! If I win this one it will go to my newly engaged daughter! She’s a clean eater too!
    Some of my favorite recipes at the moment – the Brussel Sprouts with sesame oil and garlic and the pecan, cranberry, almond butter balls – it’s what I take to eat when others are serving SUGAR! And everyone loves them!!

    I gift this cookbook frequently and would love to give a signed copy to my trainer as a gift for the holidays! He has completely changed his life with clean food and exercise and now inspires others to do the same.

    Just last night I made a favorite – the Tofu Kale Lasagna. Mmmm…such a savory, hearty dish!!

    I am aiming to eat clean in the new year and need a lot of support! it will be tough to get my husband and children on board but I am determined to do so. Your book would be so helpful and I look forward to reading it. I hope to attend some of your classes in the spring.

    I just must get a copy of this book! Had a chance to skim thru it quickly, loved the simplicity of the recipes & the ingrediants. Didn’t have the $$ on me at the time to buy the book! But have been telling everyone about this cookbook & hopping somehow someone would get it 4 me :) because it just looks great! I really love to cook & as a mom of 5 I am always looking for recipes that are not only healthy but just capable of a busy mom like me mastering & I think this cookbook has it all… I really hope I win so I can do what I always do when I get a new cookbook & go thru the whole thing & try every recipe!! Thanks 4 writing such a great cookbook w/healthy recipes :)

    I would love to give a signed copy to my mother who was recently diagnosed with cancer. While I was growing up, she was always so busy working full-time and commuting to-and-from work, so she never really learned to cook and understand nutrition. I have been teaching her recipes and ideas from Clean Food. Giving her a personalized copy of Clean Food would definitely provide additional encouragement in learning the principles and recipes.

    2013 held a lot of positive changes for me. I lost 20 lbs., completed my first detox program and completed a 40 day yoga program. I also bought a Vitamix and fell in love with it as it opened my eyes to all the nutrients my body has been missing! This book would be a great kick-off for 2014 and continuing my clean eating journey.

    I have been reading this on my Kindle and we are starting a support group at work using the book as our guide. I have loaned my Clean Food cookbook out so many times and felt I needed to finish Clean Start before I risk losing or giving it away. I just bought another copy of Clean Food to replace my first copy and ordered the new edition. I am going to buy a hardcover copy of this book too, but would love to win one so I know I have one for me!!

    This year, I WILL eat more fresh fruits and vegetables. We have a year-round Farmers Market in a temperate zone, where we are fortunate to get Spring and Fall type vegetables like kale all year long. I would like to know how to cook these in a variety of healthy and appetizing ways.
    More importantly, I have a grown son who has been having a very painful digestive system for over two years. He has had a lot of testing done and seen many doctors, including several gastroenterologists. None can figure out what is wrong. I believe your book, Clean Food, may hold the very answer. I believe he can benefit greatly from the advice inside and the recipes – using locally grown and seasonal vegetables and fruits. Your healthful style combined with simple, easy and mouth-watering recipes may just be his lifesaver. If I am fortunate enough to receive this book, I will invite my son over to dinner, so he can see what this is all about. Then I will give him the book, as he has some cooking skills. Please don not disclude me because I live in Hawaii, the 50th State. Things are expensive enough, living here. I have found the basic book rate of $3.99 for shipping, works for Hawaii as well. Please, please give me a chance to help me help my son. Thank you. And thank you for running this drawing and giving everyone the chance to improve their health and that of others.
