And The Winners Are…
Thanks to all for nourishing me this Valentine’s Day with your inspiring stories, thoughtful comments and delicious menus.
This was a fun project from the start as my two daughters helped come up with the title. While “Green Is The New Pink” was a close runner up (as suggested by my youngest), “Kale Is The New Chocolate” was a shoe-in as soon as it came out of my oldest’s mouth! They are proud of their first blog contribution and it set the stage for a wonderful Valentine’s Day in our home, even though it was slightly out of the ordinary.
As it happened, I spent much of the weekend fighting a head cold. Instead of making our traditional Valentine’s heart-shaped pancakes, chocolate dessert…, I spent most of the weekend on the sofa with a box of tissues, my computer, my must-read book (Infidel!), and the Olympics. My husband and children made sure I had hot tea, a blanket and plenty of love and hugs. I have to confess, it was a nice relaxing and low key Valentine’s Day. Now that I’m feeling better I’m looking forward to preparing some of my gets from Friday’s farm stand – freshly picked arugula, spinach and of course, lacinato kale! Mmm!
On to the cookbook! It was clear early on that it would be next to impossible to pick just one person to received a free cookbook. When I consulted my publisher (Sterling), they were so overwhelmed by the response that the decided to throw in TWO MORE books! To keep it completely objective, my youngest picked the name from a pot. Every name was included – even those of you who responded on Facebook and through email.
So, without further delay, the three winners of the CLEAN FOOD Cookbooks are:
Liz from Elevation Holistic Health
Stacey Letourneau
Lee (Lnewlin)
Congratulations and thanks to all for sharing your inspiring, touching and nourishing comments. Please check back regularly for more CLEAN FOOD conversation, events and recipes.

We can’t wait for the next two books, Terry! I can’t wait to have a “trilogy” of Terry Walters books on my shelf. Keep up the great work,
Tracey
Thank you, Tracey! In my home, they will be right along side your soon-to-be-released Edible book due out in April. I can’t wait to feature it on my blog and help spread the word!
