Dec 23

Dear Friends,

Every year at this time I find myself looking back thinking, “Wow, what a year this has been!” There were hard times, challenges and even losses along the way, but through it all I have been blessed to share this journey with an incredible community of family and friends. Thanks to each and every one of you for inspiring with your stories, for nourishing through connection and for fueling this clean food movement. It is an honor to walk beside you. Together we are creating the change that will make our world a healthy and sustainable place.

I wish for you this holiday season – and always – peace in your heart, in your family, in your home and in your community.

I pray the same for you, your family, n friends. Thank you for all you teach us and share with us. Merry Christmas to you Terry.

Have to share with you: I made the brussels sprouts recipe from Clean Food last night. Our son, Reid (24), whacked it up! Looks like we have a convert 😀

It tasted like the stir-fry dishes we make here in Hawaii. Brussels can take the place of the cabbage for us now.

    Thankful for you,
    Jeri Taira

Your latest post resonates perfectly with the title of my recently completed book, HealthyPEOPLE–HealthyPLANET unleashing the power of plant-based nutrition. I look forward to learning more about your work in 2011. As you certainly know; most people simply have no idea how much impact what they eat has on the rest of the world — and the future of the world for that matter. My book is a “big picture” look at the collective impact of our food on the planet. Happy New Year. Jim Hicks
