CLEAN FOOD Workshop | Sourdough | Avon, CT

This hands-on workshop will teach you everything you “knead” to know about starting your own artisan sourdough bread-making tradition. Together we’ll mix, knead, rest, rise…and of course, taste! You’ll learn the benefits of fermented, naturally-rising bread-making, as well as how to care for and use a natural starter. Each participant will make a sourdough bread to ferment and bake the next day, and will take home their own starter and dough scraper so you’ll be 100% ready to start baking wholesome, delicious breads!

NOTE: This is the same workshop previously offered. Returning students may audit the class which allows them to watch, learn and continue refining their craft. The fee to audit is $25.

Fee is $85 per person, per workshop. Space is limited.

Payment in advance is required and there are no refunds. If you are unable to make it to class and your seat can be filled from the wait-list, I will gladly refund your money. If I can not fill your seat, you can send a substitute to take your place.e
